I instantly thought of a speech called the orange. It's my all time favourite, though I've never had the pleasure of performing it. It's about a girl struggling with anorexia. It's beautiful written and insanely out of this world. It's truthful. I really relate it to this photo, not only pertaining to the title.
Hehe, it's cute. All the same, nice and visually sound around the orange, clementine, whatever it is. I wish I knew what it symbolizes, because it might mean something more than just an orange on a sheet of paper.
I dont want to sound cheesy, but~ the skin has been torn off. It could make you feel exposed, against the background I agree that it makes me feel a little sad and lost. Hopeless even. For another thing it's aesthetically pleasing, to me anyways, and isn't that all there has to be for someone to appreciate it. It's not supposed to mean anything. It's supposed to make you feel.
I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude or bash on this but...it's a orange, centered in the page on a white background. How can this be considered good art? Especially to end up on the front page. Very lame.
I don't get it. This just an orange. An unpeeled orange that I hope was eaten after this shot was taken and not thrown in the bin like so many other failed models in the industry. It does not have so many emotions. It is an orange, guys, AN ORANGE, an object with no sentience or feelings. Gosh, get over yourselves and stop pretending you can see behind the curtain.
